One week before the decision, an American (Democrat) and a Finn ("Republican") debated about the election and its consequences. The debaters were: Charles C. Adams, former U.S. Ambassador to Finland until the election of Trump, and Markku Ruotsila, researcher with American politics, especially the Christian right, as his specialty. Moderator was Minister Pär Stenbäck.
